When I thought about how I wanted to decorate my twin's nursery, I wanted to try to stay away from some of the clutter and try to find a happy medium between a calm space (my style) and baby elements. The baby elephants were in honor of my grandmother who passed away when I was pregnant with my boys. I feel like their room turned out to be a wonderful mix of both of those things and I love it! It’s super simple with a very subtle theme that they won't quickly outgrow!
The twins came early so when I went into labor we only had the dresser assembled. My husband was with me in the hospital during the day and spent the next couple of nights getting the cribs, swings, and everything else together.
The dresser, cribs, crib sheets, baskets, and stuffed elephants were from Target. The toy, prints, and blocks were from Etsy. The elephant lamp, sonogram frames, and baby cameras were from Amazon. The bamboo elephant blankets (my absolute favorite blankets for them) are from Bamboo Little and they were a gift from my amazing Aunt! The diaper cake is from the Honest Company and was gifted to us from my wonderful mother-in-law. The side table was made by my husband! Sound machine and changing table are from Hatch Baby. And finally, my husband surprised we with the their names on the wall! Those wooden letters are from CraftCuts! Let me know if I missed anything!
Enjoy their little room tour but just know…. this is NOT how it looks in our everyday life. Some days you can find a two-day old milk bottle that got thrown under the crib and forgotten about, stacks of laundry, and toys everywhere! But I will take the occasional mess because it is also filled with laughter everyday!
