Why I Changed My Session Offerings
Over the years, I’ve learned something important: the most meaningful photographs are created when there’s space to slow down.
The images my clients treasure most aren’t defined by how long we photographed—they’re defined by how the experience felt. Calm. Comfortable. Intentional. Full of connection.
As my business has grown, I’ve taken time to reflect on how I can best serve my clients while also making thoughtful, sustainable decisions behind the scenes. That reflection led me to simplify my portrait offerings into one intentional experience.
Less About Time, More About Presence
In the past, I offered multiple session lengths. In reality, whether a session was scheduled for 30 minutes or an hour, I was investing the same level of care—traveling to your session, planning, photographing, editing, and thoughtfully curating your gallery.
More importantly, I noticed that the sessions families loved most were the ones where they didn’t feel rushed. Where kids could warm up naturally. Where parents could relax and be present.
By offering one Signature Portrait Session, I can focus less on the clock and more on creating space for genuine moments to unfold.
Designed Around Real Families
Every family is different, and your session should honor that.
Signature Portrait Sessions typically last between 30 minutes and up to one hour, depending on your family’s needs and the natural rhythm of the session. Some sessions move quickly, others take a little more time—and both are exactly as they should be.
This flexibility allows your experience to feel calm and natural, not rushed or overly structured.
Creating Heirlooms, Not Just Images
Another important part of this change was being intentional about how your images are enjoyed.
Your photos deserve more than a quick scroll. They deserve to be printed, framed, and lived with—becoming part of your everyday life and your family’s story.
Each Signature Portrait Session includes a print credit to encourage turning your images into tangible keepsakes, whether that’s artwork on your walls or an album you flip through together.
Your gallery is not limited—you are not forced to choose just a handful of images. Instead, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated collection that tells your story fully, and you’re free to select the images and artwork that feel right for your family.

A Thank You for Returning & Referring Families
So many of my sessions come from past clients sharing my name with friends and family—and that kind of trust means everything to me.
As a thank-you, returning families receive an additional $25 print credit, and when you refer a friend or family member who books their own Signature Portrait Session, both of you will receive an extra $25 print credit to use toward professional prints or wall art.
